I hate how everyone complains about handleing AC4 and ACA had the best handleing i have ever seen in the AC series at least we could REALLY dodge incomeing projectiles for a change. Plus AC4 and ACA were the only games I could really enjoy two legged in all the other games I was only good with tank legs and I wasnt really enjoying the games in a versatile style but more in shear power with gernade launchers, beam cannons, and machine guns. So the new ones made dual legs fun.

A lot of you complain about the ACs shrinking from past games. Sorry to break it to all of you, but they were about that size in AC1 on the PSX to AC: Last Raven on the PS2. If you want proof. Watch the OP video for Last Raven. You can see the size of humans compared to a Quad-legged AC, where they stand at about the AC's ankle joint. I was rather disappointed by the bulkiness and over-sized feel of AC4 and AC4A, the handling o the ACs went from handling a Honda, to handling a Buick.

The new AC5 is gonna feature something known as the Over Weapons which was that spinning weapon there incredibly powerful and the ACs are back to there origonal sizes cause they wanted to make levels bigger all in all it looks fantastic

Medium weights have always been the show off mech.. there's no reason to think this guy ISNT a medium mech from how fast he moves. Makes me worried about how goofy and bloated my mechs will be, seeing as I run heavies and tanks. Maybe I'll skip this one.. then again I hated how badly done AC4 and fA were and I still play those despite my utter contempt for them. The curse of being a fanboy.

No. They've always been 10+, aside from from the quads which flattened their legs to the ground to hover in the early installments. In 3+ they looked even bigger, and in 4, heavy weight Normals and Nexts, and tank types are even larger than medium weighted Nexts. There's a reason why cars are the size of your mech's foot in those games.

Actually now that I get to see it in better resolution it seems that this spinning thing is something of a back-mounted weapon that occupies both slots. (Think the OIGAMI grenade cannon in 4A). So cool as it is this could just be a weapon-deployment animation... Still wicked nontheless. I'd love to swing such a thing around... Or point it at someone and shoot... For those asking if it's a equal to Gundam Battle Universe? For all intensive purposes, yes For those complaining that it looks like this? This is a poorly recorded Japanese teaser commercial. For those of it comparing it to Armored Core? It has the gameplay of AC3 but is faster, just not as fast as 4. For those who are comparing it to Gundam VS Gundam? It's not a ripoff because the Gundam Battle series is older than the Gundam VS series, and the gameplay is almost entirely different..

I agree, instead of focusing on the Battle Universe series [This included since it's also in the BU series] they should have focused more on developing the GvsG series. Or at least make a game with the same system focused on one series like OMNI vs ZAFT did. I don't know what the hell Bandai Namco is thinking, then again it's Bandai Namco so you can't expect much out of them. Everything is a damn coin flip to them.

It has nothing to do with the radar. To walk/and fly while firing back weapons you need the Human-Plus upgrades. The only way to get them is in the VERY FIRST Armored Core and then you must carry that save over to AC: Project Phantasma, and then transfer that save to AC: Master of Arena. It also helps to get 100% in every game who's save you carry over. You must get -50000 (fail every mission,waste ammo) then a cut-scene will trigger. Repeat this four or five times to get all of the upgrades.

I still have the ps2 version, compared to the mess that was ACFA (I love Ac, but AC4(a) didn't have the same"magic touch" as it's predecessors, although they were kind with how easy AC building was) Last Raven has a more interesting story, you'll be seeing other pilots more then once, some pawns, some masterminds, then their are those crazy battle pragmatist style pilots you DO NOT want to fight unless you want to prove how "pro" you are, which means a lot more in LR then in FA

I dont think Banpresto would upgrade the graphics towards the ps3 if they did put it on the ps3, you would probably just get the arcade versions graphics on the ps3, which would be a waste of a blue ray disc, in my opinion, since the graphics for the the arcade is still pretty similar towads a ps2, so for them to port it to a psp was the best choice for them to make, from the looks of it.

It seems that's a good game, but with same problems that older games had. Nice light effects, but others sucks. The MS need to be more flexible. They're like stone, specially in 2:03 scene. Gelgooc stand still; That's dissapointing when we know the possibilities on actual gen games. 4:35 with no shadows...Simple details like that sometimes makes difference. It's not about perfection, but at least, get the basics done well.

@gldni17 Not very many. The Pegasus-class ships themselves were basically testbeds for future technology; primarily for MS carriers for the Federation and the Minovsky Craft System. After the OYW was over, the Minovsky Craft System became standard on all Federation vessels, so there was no need to put in extra money into further Pegasus-class ships. Undoubtly in a regular AC scenario you cannot avoid to control the camera movements. Formula Front is just one-vs-one combat, and the auto aim worked fair well, but when you have to face several targets at different angles and altitudes, plus exploring large closed or underground areas, you must tilt the camera by your own. PSP miss four buttons and one analog stick, better to think about what we will miss in AC3 Portable :)

@usdmsw21 That's because the damage ratios were lowered in AC2. Besides that Phantasma was still as much of a joke as he was in AC:PP. Nineball Seraph was EXTREMELY strong in AC2: AA because his speed and damage ratios were ripped straight out of AC :MoA.

How were you managed to pull off the mobile grenade launcher, unless the japan version of AC2:AA has the Infinity Optional part. Just wonder and such, excellent job on Phantasma, he's tougher than Stinger or Nine-Ball Seraph. Nice to see some enemy units from VO in here. Sadly I don't think the Z-Gradt boss armor gimmick would be there with him. It'd probably be inconvenient given how some skill points are earned by just raping a stage as fast as possible. But if not, it'll certainly change things up to just have some annoying units not be able to be harmed until they enter Golden Wang mode :p

I agree with Bryanz09, this game looks a bit lame. I mean, I haven't played it but it looks to slow, I personally like something faced pace. Armored Core 4 I think is a better game then this. Its quick, face paced, and you need quick reflexes to beat the bosses.

i like the Gundam 00 tv series but this game is kinda lame for some reason because the battle in this game is only in either air or space and you can mover very freely here. Gundam Seed Destiny sub series and Gundam vs Gundam PS2/PSP games has better gameplay than this one.
