  • Yakuza 4 English trailer 1
    2 Sep 2010 at 4:42pm
The first trailer for the English release of Yakuza 4 has just been released. Yakuza 4 is an RPG that was released in Japan only in March of this year to much critical acclaim. The English version is set to be released to other regions in Spring 2011, exclusively for the PlayStation 3.

Yesterday I, as well as many of you, got to play a demo of Sega's upcoming Vanquish. While playing this third-person shooter it kinda felt like with out the one-button action. I must say that this demo left me wanting to play more of the game. Controls are solid. Using the mode(L2/LT buttons) cause things to slowdown when your shooting. It kinda reminds me of Max Payne, or Dead To Rights with its bullet time. The VANQUISH demo allows players to choose one level from the two levels

  • The Best Video Games On Awful Systems
    2 Sep 2010 at 1:48pm
Buffalo55 writes For the most part, classic games manage to reappear on different systems. Just look at Nintendo. The publisher has done an excellent job bringing NES, SNES, Genesis and even old school Neo Geo titles to the Wii's Virtual Console, while Microsoft's Game Room brings the best of Atari's 2600 into the living room. Of course, not every console was a success. The '90s, in particular, saw quite a few flops from companies like Panasonic, Sega and Atari. Just because a system

Video games consoles: the holy trinity Video game consoles come and go. Atari, Nintendo, Sega, Commodore, Microsoft, 3D0 and many others have taught us the true meaning of what it is to be a gamer. Many did not last, which was indicative of their hardware limitations and the time period in which they were birthed. Cutting-edge was four pixels strung together to represent your on screen persona. An orchestra of sound was a single rusty tune streamed out from dusty wooden panels

Kiryu-sama and his buddies have me craving ramen and beautiful women. By: Ryan Robinson Just yesterday, SEGA released a new trailer showcasing some of the cinematics from their upcoming title, Yakuza 4, and between it and some recent news, it seems that the proper steps have been taken to greatly improve upon Yakuza 3. Some of the complaints about Yakuza 3 seemed valid enough: exclusion of the hostess clubs, removal of certain missions, dated graphics and repetitive
